My Archangels

Changing the calendars from September to October, I read on one of them that today, is the Feast day of all my Archangels, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. What sweet reminder, what sweet connection!  Thank you, Lord.

Inner Joy

"Inner joy" -

Coming from within when I got home from a tough night at work... A hint, a taste, a glimpse of what is in store, like a whisper, something told me, "... it's just the tip of the iceberg."

Whew!

What a week this has been! Working at night??  I'm not used to this! What did I get myself into?? While others wake up at six in the morning to prepare for work, I'm still awake at 6 in the morning at work! How long will this last? How long will I last? Help!

Woke up in the afternoon, walked around the park, listened to my iPod, sat on a bench, watched the bay - time just for myself!

Whoa, thank God I do TM! Goodnight... or Good Morning! What time is it? What day is it?

Craigslist Removes Ads for Adult Services -

It's about time! In an interview, Mr. Jim Buckmaster, CEO, says that it does not address the underlying issue of prostitution. Do you have a better idea, Mr. Buckmaster? Hope you don't put the ad under another name and go back to your usual business.  Is it all about money, making money? Does money talk to you so loud you forget values? If Money is all that counts, you sure live up to your name, Mr. Buckmaster, at any price!!

Labor Day Monday

Too beautiful a day not to go out today, especially in San Francisco where it's usually cold in the summer! I was doing tai-chi at the deck when the splendid sun hit me perfect I wasted no time in going out. I went to the park, walked around, sat down, watched the bay, enjoyed the sun - aah, life's beautiful!

A Short Story

I was coming home after an afternoon walk when a dog came out from nowhere and, wow, what a beautiful dog, what poise! If the dog were a human being, and a woman, I'd call her a classy lady! And if it were a man, he'd be sexy! The dog had such grace, taking its time as it walked out of the gate or front yard, (I didn't even see where it was coming from), then pausing elegantly while waiting for its owner who followed shortly after. Or did that take a while? Watching the dog seemed like forever. With its stance there, time just stood still. Really, I've never seen a dog with such beauty and class, even looking better than its owner, seriously. I don't mean to criticize but, honestly, it was a gorgeous dog, American Eskimo, I learned.

I've seen many American Eskimos, but this dog is different, simply special, - poised, elegant!

Wow!
